The viscose fabric is not very stretchy, as the woven viscose has almost no elasticity due to its nature. It drapes beautifully when wearing, making it appear as if it moves on its own. The fabric made from knitting is more stretchy, as the loops are formed by the yarn. And when blended with elastane or spandex, it can significantly stretch, making it highly elastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Stretchy Is Viscose Fabric?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Viscose might stretch out of shape, especially in the knees, elbows, hips, and seat. This is not elastic recovery, but it is common for viscose clothing to stretch out over time in these places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lightweight viscose or knit viscose is more likely to baggy than other weaves and knits. Garment construction, washing, and wearing also affect the likelihood of bagginess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viscose Blends With Elastane (Spandex)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you want a stretchy viscose fabric, look for viscose\/Elastane or viscose\/spandex<\/a><\/strong> blends. A fabric with elastic fibers such as elastane or spandex will likely be stretchy, even in small percentages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
